Beach clubs in Bonaire | My Bikini MusthavesHi loves!

I’m still in the relax mode after my holiday to sunny Curacao! My jet lag is still playing with me but not as much as a couple of days ago, and from tomorrow on I’ll be working my ass off again creating some inspiring content for you. Make sure to check back every Wednesday for a brand or trend post on the blog!

While I was on Curacao we decided to also spend a few days on neighboring island Bonaire for New Years. I never visited Bonaire before so this was a first time for me! Bonaire is about the same size as Aruba but the population is much smaller than both Aruba and Curacao. There live about 18.000 people in Bonaire which means only 60 inhabitants per km2! So if you want to chill, relax and unwind in the sun, Bonaire is the perfect island for this!

I was only three days in Bonaire (and that’s more than enough so see the whole island, lol!) but I did do a little sightseeing by driving around the island in a small golf cart. Such a peaceful and laid-back vibe! Bonaire is a perfect place for surfing and diving and that’s why you’ll see a lot of places on the beach where you can rent dive and surfing equipment. I’ve visited a couple of beach clubs while I was there and I chose my three favorites to tell you about in this post. So if you’re planning to head over to this sunny island anytime soon, please don’t forget to stop by one of these cool beach clubs in Bonaire!Beach clubs in Bonaire | My Bikini MusthavesBeach clubs in Bonaire | My Bikini MusthavesBeach clubs in Bonaire | My Bikini MusthavesCoco Beach | Local favorite with great service
Coco Beach opened in the Summer of 2015 so it’s quite a new kid on the blog. The owners of this beach bar felt that Bonaire was missing something like Coco Beach: a quiet and relaxed seaside venue offering local food and great service. Coco Beach is a place where you can chill all day and even stay a bit longer in the evening for some drinks. You should try the mojito, it’s delicious (and huge!)

Jibe City is a beach club located on the east coast of Bonaire and it’s every surfers dream! Started back in 1988 Jibe City has always been the go-to destination for surfers from around the world. With the shallow water and easterly trade wind, it’s a perfect location for both windsurfers as well as families with smaller children. Check out their cool Hang Out bar for a cold beer and tasteful bites.
