Fringe bikinis | My Bikini Musthaves

What do we think of fringes? I wasn’t always a big fan of it until Rihanna wore a black fringe bikini earlier this year. Couple of weeks after that I sort of stumbled on this cute Zara bikini with a beautiful color combination. That’s when I decided to write a post about it.

What I like about fringe bikinis is that they’re not only a good option for the beach but you can also wear it to a poolparty or festival (Coachella anyone?). Shortly after this shoot I wore it to one of the biggest festivals in the Netherlands, Lowlands. It was a really warm day and I didn’t feel like wearing a t-shirt or dress so I just put on this bikini top with denim shorts and a cool bag. I normally don’t wear a lot of bandeau bikini tops because I have a small bust and bandeau tops will make it look even smaller. But with a fringe bandeau top you can play a little more because it adds volume to your chest.

One advice: if you’re a petit person it’s better to ignore the fringes completely because it will make your frame look childish instead of womanly.

See my favorite fringe styles below and let me know what you think! XOXO
