You want to know which swimwear brands will be popular in 2016? Look no further. These three brands are on the radar right now and will be trending topic this summer. From LA to Aussie, we’ve got you covered!
WHAT – Inspired by islands like Bali and Hawaii, Indah Clothing designs swimwear and apparel for the care-free but sophisticated woman. Or as they write on their own site: “For women who want to sing their own song, leaving men wanting”. My kind of quote.
WHY – Well, because my favourite bikini babe Rocky Barnes is the face of Indah Clothing, does that count? Lol. That’s a pretty damn good reason for me! Besides, Indah is one of the swimwear brands that you could also wear to summer festivals like Coachella or Burning Man. Very sexy, very unique and cool as hell.
WHAT – This brand was launched in spring/summer of 2015 by fashion influencer Shea Marie (aka Peace Love Shea) in Los Angeles. After blogging for several years she wanted to expand her business with a swimwear line made of quality Italian fabrics. A smart move if you ask me ;) The collection consists of cute colorful bikinis and matching beach tops inspired by the typical Californian lifestyle.
WHY – The first collection was a good start to build a brand and make a name for yourself as a designer. The styles are a good combination of a cheeky fit recognizable designs and detailing. This will make the brand stand out and let’s be honest, if you already have a following of almost 1 million fashion addicts and famous blogger friends it will be a lot easier to put your brand on the musthave list. Adding the fact that retailers like Bergdorf Goodman, Harrod’s and Selfridges are waiting to sell your brand, you can’t really ignore Same Swim’s presence.
All That Remains
WHAT – This Australian brand is a limited edition, non mass-produced label using the best of the best quality. Every single piece is handmade and perfect for the global traveller and local beach babe. All That Remains is very strong in crochet apparel but they also make hand cut lace swimwear. Super cute!
WHY – By now we all know the colourful crochet bikinis by Kiini and last year She Made Me was probably the crochet swimwear brand of the year. And since the crochet hype is still not over we need a new popular kid on the block for 2016! Enter All That Remains. If you’re heading to Ibiza or Brazil this summer you definitely need to pack one of their bikinis in your suitcase to rock the ultimate Boho vibe. And what I love is that all crochet bikinis have a fixed price of AUD $149. That’s something different than Kiini, right?
I promise you, these swimwear brands will be all over Instagram this summer. So depending on your budget I suggest you start looking for your next favorite bikini now. And remember, you’ve read it here first!
