What I immediately loved about this TJ Swim Celeste bikini were the contrasting colors in the bottom. The dark blue and the bright orange are a perfect combination.
Another decisive factor in choosing this bikini was the material. I’m loving ribbed bikinis lately and if you do as well check out this post where I selected my 20 favorite ones.
But the price is not bad either with the top and bottom both costing $89 AUD each. So in total you pay $178 AUD which is around $122 US and in terms of quality this is definitely worth your money.
Color name of the bikini: Midnight
Top style: Bralette
Bottom style: Brazilian coverage
I’m wearing sizes: Medium for top and large bottom
My measurements are: 75D/34D bra size, 100 cm hip size, 172 cm length
So, my thoughts on this TJ Swim Celeste bikini? Let me start with saying that the quality and fit are very good thanks to the double fabric. The top is stretchy and comfortable and not too tight around your body. I love the contrasting waistbands and what the high cut legs does for your silhouette.
There are some things that I love about this bikini that you should also pay attention to. For example, I really like the V cut shape at the front of the top, but it does give your breasts an extra push which can lead to unwanted nipple exposure 🙃 If you are unsure between two sizes, I would go one size up.
I love to wear the bottom high on the hip for optically longer legs. But I must honestly say that the elastic waistbands always drop slightly while moving, so you always have to pull the pants up a bit. I think this is due to the way the waistband is sewn to the bottom itself.
Finally, it is useful to mention that this top has no padding, but does have slits (openings) to put in padding yourself. The top also does not have underwire.
